Then we headed over to the view of the Tatoosh Range for sunset going right into a spectacular alpenglow over an excellent field of Purple Asters that were just coming into full bloom. After we finished, I hiked the students down, then continued on for a little bit of night hiking time. Such a peaceful time in the park.
